Doors Open Denver free tours of Denver landmarks

The 2012 theme for this annual event is Denver Landmarks. Doors Open Denver (DOD) is a FREE, annual, two-day event celebrating architecture, and design.  Over 70 sites are open to the public for tours, among them the historic Riverside Cemetery, St. Patrick's Mission Church, North High School, Oxford Hotel, Civic Center Park, Chamberlin Observatory and other landmarks.
Participants can choose between:
Self-Guided Tour
Expert Guided Tour (must pre-register)
Urban Adventure Tour

Expert Tours are walking tours led by volunteer guides. No admission fee is required, however participants MUST pre-register at Event Headquarters (Ellie Caulkins Opera House, 1350 Arapahoe Street) on the tour day to reserve a place. Tours have limited capacity and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. NOTE: Only two tickets per person and two tours per day/per person are permitted.
